What this shop is about
Tsundoku (積ん読) is the Japanese word for the habit of acquiring books faster than you can read them – buying little by little, even knowing the pile will outpace you. Most people treat it as a confession. Around here, it’s the founding principle.
Everything in the shop is purchased directly from Japan: complete manga series, rare merchandise, and the kinds of finds that are genuinely difficult to track down outside the country. When we list a manga collection, it’s the entire series, start to finish, so you never have to hunt down that one missing volume from a third seller. And our single volumes are carefully sourced straight from the shelves of Japan’s bookstores
Whether you’re after a full series or something more obscure, it all gets sourced with the same attention: genuine, imported, and worth keeping.
Who’s behind it
Hi, I’m Jordan Barton. I’m a software engineer, lifelong manga fan, and Japanese learner. Tsundoku Trading Co. exists so you can get full collections and rare Japan-only finds in one place, sourced the way I’d want them myself. Every set that goes out is one I inspected, packed, and quietly considered keeping.
